1. About Immibook

Immibook is a peer-to-peer marketplace connecting people moving to Australia with verified locals who share personal settlement experience. Immibook is NOT a registered migration agent and does NOT provide migration advice, legal advice, or financial advice.

For visa and immigration advice, you must consult a registered migration agent or the Department of Home Affairs (homeaffairs.gov.au).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Immibook. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must not share your account with others
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Expert/Creator Responsibilities

If you register as an expert on Immibook:

  • You must provide accurate information about your identity and experience
  • You must not claim to be a registered migration agent unless you are one
  • You are sharing personal experience and settlement advice, not professional legal or migration advice
  • You must deliver the services as described in your listings
  • You are responsible for your own tax obligations

5. Payments

All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise noted.

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If a service was not delivered as described, contact us for resolution.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Providing false or misleading information
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
  • Using the platform for any illegal purpose
  • Circumventing the payment system (off-platform transactions)
  • Scraping, copying, or automated access to the platform

7. Intellectual Property

Content uploaded by users (profiles, service descriptions, files) remains the intellectual property of the respective user. Immibook retains the right to display this content on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

Immibook is a marketplace facilitating connections between users and experts. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or outcome of any advice or service provided by experts. Use the platform at your own discretion.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
